Prior to July 15 of each year, the District Board of Directors shall approve a notice to advise eligible voters the district will have an election on a date after 

September 30 and prior to October 16. If the eligible voters meet the qualifications and are interested in being a candidate or the office of district director, they must file a written notice of the individual's candidacy.
